Financial Controller
Established in 2016, the group is a merger of leading hospital healthcare providers in the country – Tokuda Hospital and City Clinic. It includes two hospitals in Sofia (one of which has three hospital campuses), four diagnostic and consultative centers, and one medical center in the city of Varna.
Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda University Hospital is one of the largest medical institutions in Bulgaria, built and developed entirely through private investment.
Acibadem City Clinic University Hospital – Vitosha, Orthopedics, and Mladost are the only healthcare institutions in Bulgaria accredited by the international healthcare quality and safety standard – Joint Commission International (JCI).
Acibadem City Clinic is currently seeking a Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Right of use and lease liability
- CAPEX allocation reports
- Provide timely and accurate reporting & analyses of the results of companies / clinical sites performance to facilitate decision-making:
- Analyze any significant MoM variances

Responsibilities:
- Support in preparing monthly IFRS consolidated financial statements and detailed reporting packs:
- Prepare by site reports from mapped trial balances provided by accounting
- Loan and lease movement reports
- Receivables ageing
- Other monthly reports
- Provide detailed calculations on a monthly basis or upon request. Responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive set of financial and business reports and metrics:
- Right of use and lease liability
- CAPEX allocation reports
- Provide timely and accurate reporting & analyses of the results of companies / clinical sites performance to facilitate decision-making:
- Analyze any significant MoM variances
- Work along with other departments to get insight into site performance
- Support coordination and communication with external audit providers:
- Coordinate and comply with reporting requirements
- Participate in group projects for system improvements, reporting optimization and other one-off projects
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis on a variety of complex accounting issues facing the corporate group
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in International Financial reporting
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related disciplines
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Strong analytical, quantitative and process improvement skills
- Ability to prioritize and comply with strict deadlines
