The medical center begins 2019th with a new apparatus for diagnosing urinary problems. The urofloometer is the only one for adults in Varna and helps to appoint treatment for both sexes. The investigation is used in patients with stress-incontinence (leakage), prostatic hyperplasia and urinary problems. It is appointed by a urologist.

“Urophloometry is a urological investigation that checks the amount, speed and timing of urine output. It is done with a full bladder. It is better for the patient to tell the doctor in advance what medication he or she is taking, "explains Dr. Georgi Panayotov, a urologist at Acibadem City Clinic Varna.

The diagnostic method is a normal urination that occurs in the apparatus. The results appears in the form of a computer graphic. That helps the doctor to specify what the urinary disorders are and make a precise diagnosis. Urofloometry is required before and after medication or surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is also highly recommended for operative treatment of urethral stricture, bladder sclerosis, stress-incontinence, and so-called "overactive bladder".
