Arterial hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is one of the main causes of cardio-vascular death.

The World Health Organization’s (WHO) latest data shows that a lot of people do not know that they have the disease. Aiming to increase people’s awareness about hypertension, since 2005 there is an initiative by which The World Hypertension Day is globally celebrated every year on May 17th.
